2.Reception of Dispersed Books

On January 15, 1946, President Wang Xinggong replied to the delegates to Japan regarding the seized books of NSYSU and expressed the urgency of getting the books returned. With the efforts of many parties, in August 1947, the books belonging to NSYSU that had been seized and held in Japan were finally transported back to the University. In addition, NSYSU also gradually received books from various locations such as the then National Guangdong University, the Wing Yun Warehouse in the Western district, Hong Kong, and the Sanya Port Warehouse in Hainan, reclaiming some of the library resources lost during the war.
